Sportsmen`s Inn Restaurant in Bridgeport

It's been a very long time since I wasn't disappointed by a French Dip. I ate the entire sandwich. Which is also rare for me, I usually eat half a sandwich. Fries are yummy. Wait staff is pleasant and happy to be there. Looking forward to eating inside again. Miss seeing the boat and other things hanging in the rafters.

Surprising quality of food for an unassuming bar/diner. The front doesn't give it away, but they have solid comfort food. I had the chicken Caesar salad, and the chicken breast was juicy, tender, grilled to perfection; the romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp; the Caesar dressing top notch; the garlic parmesan bread was great; and the parmesan shreds generous. Delicious! My son had the spaghetti, and said it was great. My daughter had the fish and chips and said it was in the top three best fish she'd ever had. My mother in law had the chef salad, and it was delicious and a generous portion that filled her up.We were just passing through on a road trip and took a chance based on the reviews and the cleanliness of the place, and we found a hidden treasure! For quick diner food, it's two thumbs up!

Great burgers and fries. I think Haley was our server, cute little pregnant girl. So much fun
